ifilm English to air finale for ‘Bread and Basil’

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the series ‘Bread and Basil’ on Tuesday.

The final episode for the series, produced by Mahmoud Razavi and directed by Farzad Motamen, will be aired on February 25, 2020.

The series is about Abbas, Farid, Morad, Siavash and Hamed, five young men who have been friends with each other ever since childhood and they’re now running a traditional restaurant together.

After suffering a series of romantic setbacks, and upon the advice of Aqa Amou, their mentor and self-proclaimed bachelor, in order to safeguard their friendship, they take a pledge not to get involved with women for the rest of their lives.

Whoever breaks this pledge relinquishes his share of the traditional restaurant.

Through a series of wacky adventures, weird encounters and crazy twists, they find out that honoring such a pledge is easier said than done.

Among the cast list are Saeed Pirdoust, Farhad Ayish, Shaqayeq Dehqan, Borzou Arjmand, Reza Davoudnejad, Amir-Hossein Rostami, and Melika Sharifinia.

‘Bread and Basil’, produced in 2010, will be replaced by ‘Zaferani’ made by Hamed Mohammadi.
